Abstract(s)
This now presented text constitutes the result of a study carried out with a group of Portuguese social educators, in which we sought to assess the way in which these socio-educational intervention professionals perceive, conceptualize and verbalize the problems and ethical dilemmas emerging from their professional every day. For this purpose, we use a qualitative research strategy based on the narratives collection produced by these professionals, in alignment with the conceptual and methodological assumptions worked within the scope of the European Social Ethics Project, which showed a conception practical ethics conception of a nature eminently relational. As will be underlined, the results show ethical and deontological specific training needs, emphasizing the demands for practical deliberation.
