Abstract(s)
No primeiro capítulo
No terceiro capítulo situaremos a novidade
The current dissertation intends to study the uniqueness of the dynamism of hope in the Book of Job. This is to help us understand how the surprising change from recent exegesis overcame the historical absence of the Book of Job in the great theological treatises on hope. In this context of change, we intend to study the current proposals for a new language that tries to prioritize the dynamism of Job's hope instead of the debate about retribution and suffering. The thesis is organized in three chapters. In the first chapter, we will address the semantics of hope in the OT, taking a first look at the specificity of same in the Book of Job. In the second, we will try a literary observation of the places where hope is explicitly and implicitly spoken. In the third chapter we will situate the novelty of a contribution from recent exegesis, which focuses on the reasons for Job's hope, the imagination of hope and the possibility of waiting on God.
