| dc.description.abstract | A celebração da vida, para Herberto Helder, só é possível pela poesia, uma vez que, no universo herbertiano, esta comporta um poder extremo, alicerçado pela energia inesgotável de duas tensões: a inocência e o espírito demoníaco. É disto que nos dá conta a leitura dos vinte e três textos em prosa apresentados em Os passos em volta: a presença ininterrupta de diferentes narradores, em contínua alternidade, em especial o narrador-poeta, um ser indistinto do poema, na sua imanência absoluta. Na verdade, ninguém sai impune depois de uma leitura mais cuidada de Os passos em volta. Convém, por conseguinte, reconhecermos não só a realidade dinâmica inerente à geografia física e humana por onde deambulam os diferentes narradores, mas partilharmos a existência mitificada das tensões interiores e das fugas ininterruptas, num recomeço permanente, sem fim, da própria escrita. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Life’s celebration for Herberto Helder is only possible through poetry. In the Herbertian universe it holds an extreme power, grounded by the inexhaustible energy of two tensions: the innocence and the demonic spirit. This is what gives us the reading of the twenty-three prose texts presented in Os passos em volta: the uninterrupted presence of different narrators, in continuous alternation, especially the narrator-poet, an indistinct being of the poem, in its absolute immanence. In fact, no one goes unpunished after a meticulous reading of Os passos em volta. It is therefore appropriate to recognize not only the dynamic reality inherent in physical and human geography through which the narrator-poet wandered, but to share the mythic existence of his inner tensions and his uninterrupted escapes, in a permanent, endless restart, of writing itself. | pt_PT |
