Abstract(s)
A presente dissertação pretende contribuir para expandir o conhecimento sobre a Autorregulação
na escrita e, as suas relações com a Motivação. Assim, os objetivos gerais do estudo são: a) caracterizar
os alunos da amostra em termos de Autorregulação na escrita e da Motivação (operacionalizou-se esta
variável neste estudo através da autoeficácia em português e dos objetivos de realização); b) estudar de
que forma as Estratégias de Autorregulação na Escrita e a Motivação variam em função das variáveis
sociodemográficas; c) verificar se as Estratégias de Autorregulação na Escrita e a Motivação se
encontram relacionadas entre si e de que forma. O estudo contemplou 726 alunos do 3ºCEB. Na avaliação
foram utilizados os intrumentos: a) Questionário Sóciodemográfico; b) Escala de Estratégias de
Autorregulação e Escrita (Oliveira & Dias, in press); c) Escala de Auto-Eficácia Académica (Neves &
Faria, 2005) e; d) o Questionário dos Objetivos de Realização (Gonçalves, Lemos & Rodrigues, 2008).
Os principais resultados do estudo permitiram verificar que as estratégias de autorregulação na escrita se
encontram relacionadas positivamente com a motivação. Ou seja, maiores estratégias de autorregulação
na escrita associam-se a uma maior autoeficácia em português e a maiores objetivos para a mestria e para
o desempenho.
This thesis aims to contribute to expanding knowledge about self-regulation in the writing, and its relations with Motivation. Thus, the overall objectives of the study are: a) characterize the sample of students in terms of self-regulation in writing and Motivation (this variable is operationalized in this study through self-efficacy in Portuguese and objectives of performance); b) to study how the Self-Regulation Strategies in Writing and Motivation vary according to social demographic variables, c) verify whether and how the self-regulation strategies in writing and motivation are related. The study included 726 students from the 3rd cycle of elementary education. These were the instruments used for assessment: a) social demographic questionnaire; b) Scale of Self-Regulation Strategies and Writing (Oliveira & Dias, in press); c) Academic Self-Efficacy Scale (Neves & Faria, 2005) and; d) the Questionnaire of Performance Objectives (Gonçalves, Lemos & Rodrigues, 2008). The main results of the study allowed us to verify that the self-regulation strategies in writing are positively related to motivation. In other words, greater self-regulation strategies in writing are associated with greater self-efficacy in Portuguese and higher goals for mastery and performance.
