Abstract(s)
A presente investigação teve como objetivo a análise e compreensão dos
níveis motivacionais dos alunos em anos conclusivos da Escola Profissional de
Música de Viana do Castelo.
A motivação é um tema estudado na aprendizagem e é cada vez mais
valorizado. No ensino de música é igualmente uma temática que pode exercer
extrema influência, uma vez que tocar um instrumento musical é uma atividade muito
exigente.
Nesta pesquisa, o objetivo principal foi investigar o nível de motivação dos
alunos referentes aos anos de conclusão académica, ou seja, 9º ano de escolaridade/
3º Curso Básico de Instrumento e 12º ano de escolaridade/ 3º Curso de
Instrumentistas e Cordas da Escola Profissional de Música de Viana do Castelo. O
estudo partiu de um estudo de caso como design metodológico, e após a utilização
da técnica de inquérito questionário, procedeu-se a uma análise quantitativa. Através
de um inquérito, direcionado a investigar a motivação dos alunos de instrumento, a
pesquisa foi realizada em 30 alunos do 9ºano/3ºCBI e em 28 alunos do 12ºano/3º
CICT/CISP. A análise dos dados foi feita a partir do perfil dos alunos, a relação
aluno/instrumento e, finalmente, a relação aluno/escola e professor.
O motivo pelo que escolhi estes determinados anos de escolaridade para
realizar o meu estudo, fundamentou-se a partir das razões de desistências no estudo
da música/Instrumento nestes mesmos níveis de ensino, tentando também discernir
as razões que levam certos alunos à desmotivação.
This research aimed to the analysis and understanding of the motivational levels of students in concluding years of Vocational Music School of Viana do Castelo. Motivation is a topic studied in learning and is increasingly valued. In teaching music it is also a theme that can exert influence far, as playing a musical instrument is a very demanding activity. In this research, the main objective was to investigate the level of student motivation for the years of academic completion, ie 9th grade / 3rd Basic Course Instrument and 12th grade / 3rd Instrumentalists Course and String of Vocational Music School of Viana do Castelo. The study was based on a case study as a methodological design, and after using the questionnaire survey technique, we proceeded to a quantitative analysis. Through a survey, directed to investigate the motivation of instrument students, the survey was conducted on 30 students of 9th grade / 3ºCBI and 28 students of the 12th grade / 3rd CICT / CISP. Data analysis was made from the student profile, the relationship student / instrument and finally the relationship student / school and teacher. The reason I chose these particular years of schooling to achieve my study was based from the dropouts reasons in the study of music / Instrument these same levels of education, also trying to discern the reasons that takes some students to demotivation.
