O presente relatório pretende salientar que, apesar, de vivermos numa civilização
predominantemente individualista, a relacionalidade é uma dimensão estruturante do ser
humano e o substrato que lhe permite concretizar o que em possibilidade é: pessoa, ser em
relação.
Humanizar a Educação é um desafio que a atualidade lança à Escola e esta pode encontrar na
EMRC uma parceira preferencial a fim de juntas contribuírem para a formação de pessoas que
se disponham a transformar a realidade para seja possível uma convivência pacífica, numa
sociedade cada vez mais global e multicultural. A Escola Básica de Santo António da Parede é
um paradigma de que esse pluralismo social é uma realidade na Escola. A Unidade Letiva
sobre a Pessoa Humana é oportuna e os alunos aderem com entusiasmo aos seus conteúdos.
Criada Imago Dei a pessoa é chamada a manter essa ligação à fonte como os ramos à árvore e
aí encontrar o sentido da ética que norteia o seu agir quotidiano.
A Pessoa Humana e a sua dignidade ontológica poderiam estruturar o programa de EMRC,
como princípios que não se deixam condicionar por geografias ou cronologias, porque o seu
horizonte é a transcendência. Numa época em que a palavra é relativizada, é importante que a
EMRC saiba aliar a teoria à prática, porque mais importante do que definir pessoa é praticar
com os alunos o ser pessoa.
This report intends to emphasize that, although we live in a predominantly individualistic civilization, relationality is a structuring dimension of the human being and the substratum that allows transforming its inherent possibility into that which is the person as being in relation. Humanizing education is a challenge that is now being introduced into schooling and it can find in EMRC a preferential partnership in order to contribute to the formation of people who are willing to transform reality so that peaceful coexistence is possible in an ever-changing society that is ever more global and multicultural. Santo António de Parede Basic School is a paradigm of what this social pluralism is in reality at School. The Learning Unit «Human Person» is proven to be pertinent and students enthusiastically adhered to its content. «Imago Dei», as created by God, the person is called to maintain the connection to the source the same way branches do in relation to the tree, finding thus the sense of ethics that guides the human daily action. The Human Person and its ontological dignity could be the axis on which to structure the EMRC program functioning as the principle that is not conditioned by geography or chronology, because the horizon on what it stands is transcendence. At a time when the word is relativized, it is important that the EMRC knows how to combine theory with practice, because more important than defining what a person consists on is to practice with the students how to be a person.
