Abstract(s)
Este trabalho finaliza o percurso realizado ao longo do Mestrado em Ensino em Artes Visuais e incide na problemática do rosto humano. O rosto é uma das temáticas tratadas na disciplina de Educação Visual enquanto conteúdo programático. É um tema sensível, até porque tem sido banalizado na sociedade atual, centrado na aparência e na superficialidade. A manipulação exercida pelos meios de comunicação social conduziu a uma cultura na qual só a beleza exterior é valorizada em benefício de interesses económicos. Ora, sem nos desvincularmos dos objetivos do programa escolar a lecionar, pretendemos levar os discentes a compreender o verdadeiro significado do rosto e conduzi-los a uma dimensão ética numa valorização e humanização desse objeto de estudo. Através de textos adequados, meios audiovisuais, como filmes, apresentações e imagens, trabalhos práticos e debates/diálogo, atravessamos com eles esta ponte que os distancia da vertente humanista.
Foi feito um trabalho pedagógico com os alunos, de forma a sensibilizá-los para esta problemática. Julgamos que conseguiram alcançar e perceber o verdadeiro significado do rosto, passando a valorizá-lo mais numa relação de respeito e humanismo, fomentando o que está para além da beleza exterior, numa profundidade do ser. Verificamos, também, que este aprofundamento do significado do rosto teve repercussões positivas no rendimento escolar dos nossos alunos, nomeadamente ao nível da representação visual.
This work concludes the way fulfilled along the master's degree in education in Visual Arts and focuses on the problems of the human face. The face is one of the themes treated in the discipline of Visual Education while a programmatic content. It's a sensitive topic, because it has been trivialized in the current society, centered on appearance and superficiality. The manipulation exerted by the media has led to a culture in which only the outer beauty is valued in benefit of economic interests. Well, we should not release from the objectives of the program and we intend to take the students to understand the true meaning of face and lead them to an ethical dimension in a recovery and humanization of this object of study. Through audiovisual media such as movies, presentations and pictures, practical work and discussions/dialogue, we crossed with the students the bridge that distances them from the humanist slope. It was made a pedagogical work with students, in order to make them aware to this issue. We believe that they have achieved and realized the true meaning of the face, valuing it more in a relation of respect and humanism, fostering what is beyond the outer beauty, at a depth of the human being. We also verify that this deepening of the meaning of the face had positive repercussions in the school profit of our pupils, particularly at the level of the visual representation.
