Abstract(s)
This report is developed under the scope of Professional Practice (I and II) and Pedagogical Intervention Seminar and is presented to the Catholic University of Portugal to obtain a Master's degree in the Teaching of Music. This report includes data collected during the academic year 2018/2019, at the Viana do Castelo Music Academy - Alto Minho Regional Conservatory (AMVC - CRAM), where my Pedagogical Intervention Project was implemented and the supervised professional practice conducted, under the guidance of José Oliveira Martins (Scientific Advisor) and Susana Lima (Cooperative Pedagogical Advisor), in the proposed areas of specialization: Instrument - Classical Guitar and Class of Ensemble. Following the rules established by the Scientific Coordination of the Masters, this report is divided into two parts: (1) the Professional Practice Report contains the substantive information related to the professional internship held at the AMVC – CRAM, which includes objectives, planning, and reflections on my professional progression for the academic year 2018/19, among others,; (2) the Report of the Pedagogical Intervention Project adopts a scientific article format, and transcribes in some detail the strategies for the implementation of the pedagogical intervention project (Implications for the instrumental learning of the guitar (in the 2nd cycle) resulting from the implementation of daily technical exercises), whose main objective is centered on a better understanding of the implications that a daily practice technical routine have for the musical progress of the student of the 1st and 2nd Grades of the Basic Course of Music of Articulated Teaching.
