O Diretor de Turma na escola atual enquanto gestor curricular, líder de equipas
pedagógicas, líder intermédio na organização escolar e seu funcionamento, e a nível
externo, enquanto mediador sociocultural, agindo como gestor de relacionamentos entre
todos os atores educativos em articulação com a família, tem um papel de charneira na
escola desempenhando diversas funções no exercício deste cargo de gestão pedagógica
intermédia.
No sentido de dinamizar todo o processo educativo o professor Diretor de Turma
deve exercer formas de liderança no sentido de orientar todos os processos relativos à
formação dos seus alunos.
A gestão do currículo e das aprendizagens dos alunos é da responsabilidade do
professor, mas é ao Diretor de Turma que Direções e Encarregados de Educação,
responsabilizam pelo sucesso escolar dos seus discentes.
O presente relatório reflexivo considera a minha experiência pessoal e
profissional como Diretora de turma e tem como base as dificuldades que fui sentindo e
os sucessos alcançados ao longo dos anos.
Na primeira parte será revisto o papel e perfil do Diretor de Turma, numa
perspetiva diacrónica e o seu enquadramento institucional. Na segunda parte será
apresentada a experiência dos últimos anos no exercício do cargo.
The Class Director in the modern school act as a curriculum manager, leader of pedagogical teams, intermediate leader in the school organization and its functioning, and at an external level, as a socio-cultural mediator, acting as manager of relationships among all educational actors in articulation with the family. He/she has a role of hinge in the school, performing several functions in the exercise of this position of intermediate pedagogical management. In order to energize the entire educational process, the teacher/Class Director must exercise forms of leadership in order to guide all the processes related to the formation of his pupils. The curriculum management and the students learning process is teacher's responsibility but is the class director who Directions and parents/guardians hold responsible for the school success of their students. This reflective report considers my personal and professional experience as a class director and is based on the difficulties I have felt, and the successes achieved over the years. In the first part will be reviewed the role and profile of the class director, in a diachronic perspective and its institutional framework. In the second part, will be presented the experience of the last years in the exercise of the office.
