Abstract(s)
This thesis aims to investigate the possibilities of applying the joint liability provided in art. 334.º of the Labor Code to international affiliated companies. The contributions of the doctrine and jurisprudence that we have studied allow us to conclude that the current legal solution has several shortcomings. Some of them seem to conflict with the ratio legis of the legal regime itself and even with some constitutional principles and European Union law.
