Resumo(s)
Este trabalho, no âmbito do Mestrado em Ciências Religiosas, Especialização em Ensino de Educação Moral e Religião Católica, consiste numa reflexão que tem por base a proposta da 3.ª Unidade Letiva do Programa de Educação Moral e Religiosa Católica de 2014, para o 8.º ano, “A liberdade”.
Nesta reflexão, procuraremos mostrar que quer os conteúdos, quer os recursos bíblicos propostos, particularmente os do Novo Testamento, ficam aquém da perspetiva cristã de liberdade, focando-se sobretudo numa visão da liberdade mais centrada nos condicionamentos à mesma (liberdade de), do que naquilo que a liberdade é em si, no sentido da opção humana (liberdade para).
Urge uma nova fundamentação bíblica da unidade letiva – que, necessariamente, implica novos conteúdos, ou uma reformulação dos mesmos – ajustada à perspetiva cristã de liberdade e adequada à situação vital dos alunos própria do seu nível de escolaridade e faixa etária.
This thesis, within the scope of Master Degree in Religious Sciences, Specialization in Catholic Moral and Religious Education, targets a reflection based on the proposal of the 3rd Teaching Unit of the Program of Catholic Moral and Religious Education of 2014, for the 8th grade, called “Freedom”. This reflection intended to show that both the program contents and the bible resources proposed, namely those of the New Testament, fall short on the Christian perspective of freedom, focusing primarily on a vision of freedom centered on its conditionings (freedom of), than on what freedom itself means, in terms of the human choice (freedom for). There is an urgent need of a new biblical foundation of the teaching unit – that, necessarily, implies new contents, or a reformulation of them – adjusted to the Christian perspective of freedom and that should be adapted to the vital situation of the students according to their educational level and to their age group.
