| dc.description.abstract | Assistimos todos os dias a uma incoerência entre um sistema que preceitua a proteção da infância, mas que na prática vive de desproteção. Uma Constituição que incumbe à sociedade e ao Estado a proteção das crianças, mas que em tribunal apenas se vê o julgamento dos agentes diretos das ações. Não sabemos se será falta de meios, técnicos ou formação, mas acreditamos que um sistema falha quando uma criança morre. Quanto maior é a fragilidade do sujeito, maior é a necessidade de proteção. O presente estudo tem como objetivo saber como funciona o sistema de proteção em Portugal, apurar as razões que justificam o aumento dos casos de maus tratos infantis todos os anos e estudar a possibilidade de Estado e instituições públicas serem responsabilizados. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Every day we witness an inconsistency between a system that prescribes protection, but in practice lives on lack of protection. A Constitution that is responsible for protecting children from society and the State, but which only sees the judgment of the direct agents of the actions in court. We don’t know if it will be a lack of resources, technicians, or training, but we believe that system fails when a child dies. The greater the subject’s fragility, the greater the need for protection. The present study aims to find out how the protection system works in Portugal, try to determine the reasons that justify the increase in cases of child abuse every year study the possibility of the State and public institutions being held responsible. | pt_PT |
