Abstract(s)
O presente estudo centra-se no impacto da comunicação emocional nas suas dimensões de escuta e expressão, na felicidade de alunos e professores. Os objetivos consistiram em caracterizar a comunicação emocional e a felicidade na amostra e analisar o impacto de algumas variáveis (idade, género, tipo de escola, valorização da aprendizagem, escuta e expressão) na felicidade dos alunos e dos professores. Foi administrado um questionário online a uma amostra de 3130 alunos e 5038 professores do 2.º e 3.º do Ciclo de Ensino Básico (CEB) e do Ensino Secundário, de escolas públicas e privadas de todo o país e a análise de dados foi efetuada utilizando o IBM SPSS Statistics 28. Os resultados revelaram que a escuta e a expressão impactam positivamente a felicidade dos alunos e dos professores e que essa felicidade pode ser determinada por diferentes variáveis. No caso dos alunos, a variável que apresentou valores mais elevados foi a valorização da aprendizagem e no caso dos professores, foi a expressão. Serão ainda apresentadas algumas implicações do estudo.

The objectives were to characterize emotional communication and happiness in the sample and to analyze the impact of some variables (age, gender, type of school, appreciation of learning, listening and expression) on the happiness of students and teachers.
