Abstract(s)
A inclusão de crianças com NEE tem vindo a ganhar particular relevância nas
escolas. Assim, torna-se fundamental compreender a perceção dos pais perante a
inclusão, sendo este o principal objetivo deste estudo de carácter qualitativo. Utilizou-se
uma abordagem qualitativa, com vista à melhor compreensão da problemática
explorada.Participaram neste estudo 8 mães de uma escola pública de Vila Nova de
Famalicão. Os dados foram recolhidos através da entrevista semiestruturada e
submetidos à análise de conteúdo. No presente estudo constatou-se que as mães são
favoráveis à inclusão, demonstrando credibilidade neste processo, mencionando o
desejo de acolhimento da criança e diversas vantagens como a aceitação social, a
aprendizagem, relação com os colegas, e desenvolvimento de competências sociais.
