| dc.description.abstract | É o futuro quem confere forma e extensão à esperança. A noção cristã de futuro dá interpretação nova à esperança humana e através da escatologia cristã rasga novos horizontes de sentido ao esperar humano e à estrutura histórica da humanidade. Jürgen Moltmann é um dos pensadores contemporâneos que edificou um dos mais belos e inabaláveis manifestos à esperança. A reflexão que apresentamos tem como referência fundamental o pensamento moltmanniano, priorizando a relação entre a história e a escatologia. Orientados pela «Teologia da Esperança», diremos como o homem é o ser que está orientado para o futuro e em que medida os horizontes da esperança cristã fundam uma nova antropologia com dimensão e tensão escatológica. Daremos especial relevância à dinamização da esperança no processo da história. Procuraremos evidenciar que «a esperança não engana» (Rm 5,5) e desenvolver o fundamento teológico de uma mentalidade escatológica comprometida. Ser esperança pelo agir será uma forma de concretização da responsabilidade da esperança, da missão da esperança inserida no mundo, na grande tarefa de preparar o caminho do futuro, enquanto é aguardada a «parousía» de Cristo. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | It is the future that vests hope with form and defines its scope. The Christian notion of the future offers a new interpretation of man’s hope, and through Christian eschatology, it opens new horizons of feeling for human hope and the historical structure of humanity.Jürgen Moltmann is one of the contemporary thinkers who constructed one of the most beautiful and unshakeable manifestos for hope. The fundamental reference for the reflection we present is Moltmannian thought, giving priority to the relationship between history and eschatology. Guided by the «Theology of Hope», we will see how man is the being oriented towards the future and note the degree to which the horizons of Christian hope form the foundation for a new anthropology with eschatological dimension and tension. We will pay special attention to the dynamisation of hope in the process of history. We will seek to show that «hope does not disappoint us» (Rm 5,5) and develop the theological foundation for a committed eschatological mindset. To be hope through action will be a way of fulfilling the responsibility of hope, the mission of hope integrated in the world, in the great task of preparing the way to the future, while we await the «parousía» of Christ. | pt_PT |
