Abstract(s)
Abordo as práticas cotidianas do gestor, as competências
This dissertation is the synthesis of a legitimate concern that arose when I worked as a manager in a private school of basic education. At the time, my concern was to develop work based on efficiency and at the same time contemplating formative spaces for emancipation. However, because it is linked to me, it was necessary to move away from the subject, to make it an object of research in the making of observations and records. Initially I present the challenges of school management, historical contextualization and contradictions. I approach the daily practices of the manager, the essential skills for the exercise of school management and the role of the manager for an efficient and emancipatory education. In order to recognize the school as an organization, I present those that I consider the main organizational models of administration and deepen in the two models that are present in the researched object: bureaucratic model and market model. Next, I present the research itself, describe the chosen methodological path, the context, and the data collection techniques. Finally, I close the paper with the descriptive presentation of results with data analysis and final considerations.
