Abstract(s)
O presente Relatório de Estágio é resultado do processo de restauro realizado pela autora durante os anos de 2008 a 2015, da obra de Arthur Nisio intitulada de: “Chegada de Zacarias de Góes e Vasconcelos”, pintura óleo sobre tela de lona de algodão, com dimensões de 430 x 675 cm e datada de 1954-6. O estudo inclui o percurso histórico, sua vertente artística, simbólica, iconográfica e a caracterização dos materiais constituintes dos estratos preparatórios e pictóricos. Igualmente, o levantamento e caracterização do estado de conservação da pintura e referência aos tratamentos efetuados para lhe devolver a estabilidade física e restituir os respectivos valores estéticos. Estudo possível, através da utilização de diversos métodos de exames com fotografia de fluorescência visível sob radiação de ultravioleta (UV), transversal e de detalhes. Foi feita obsercvção por microscopia ótica de cortes estratigráficos. Alguns resultados a que chegamos foram possíveis concluir que o artista aplicava uma numerosa e complexa sobreposição de estratos. Esta pesquisa abre discussão acerca da intervenção de conservação e restauro, contribuindo para o aprofundamento do estudo do artista e da pintura paranaense que tem por lacuna bibliográfica a ausência de pesquisas mais aprofundadas. Para além do tema narrativo envolto pelo cenário político paranaense, representando a emancipação política do estado do Paraná – Brasil (1853), este legado artístico é testemunho da assinatura pictórica de Arthur Nisio. Através do processo de restauro, a autora elencou aspectos técnicos e científicos, chamando atenção para a importância de estudos mais aprofundados que extrapolem o escopo físico, informacional e do estado da arte que permeiam a obra em si. Sinaliza para a importância de pesquisas mais aprofundadas e dedicadas a diferentes fazeres e saberes. O processo metodológico, técnico e científico do restauro da pintura de Arthur Nisio tornou visível e latente lacunas que deverão ser preenchidas por diferentes atores do campo das Artes, Patrimônio Cultural e Social e da Conservação e Restauro.
The present Report is the result of the restoration process carried out by the author during the years 2008 to 2015 of the work of Arthur Nísio entitled "Arrival of Zacarias de Góes and Vasconcelos", oil painting on cotton canvas, measuring 430 x 675 cm and dated from 1954-6. The study includes an historical, artistic, symbolic, iconographic context, as also the characterization of the materials from ground and paint layers. Likewise, the diagnosis, the condition survey and the treatments undertaken to restore the physical stability and the respective aesthetic values, are also included. Technical documentation was carried with normal and ultraviolet (UV) radiation to obtain general, detailed and tangential photographs, as also, to capture fluorescence effects on the painting surface. Samples for cross sections were collected from ground and paint layers for examination by optical microscopy. Results revealed a numerous paint layer application. This research opens discussion about conservation and restoration intervention, contributing for deepening the study about the artist and the painting of Paraná, that lacks further knowledge. In addition to the narrative theme present in the political scene of Paraná that represents the political emancipation of the state of Paraná - Brazil (1853), this artistic legacy is a testimony of the pictorial signature of Arthur Nisio. Through the restoration process, the author listed technical and scientific aspects, drawing attention to the importance of further studies that extrapolate the physical and state of the art context that permeate the work itself. It points out to the importance of more in-depth research and dedicated to different practices and knowledge. The methodological, technical and scientific process of the restoration of the painting of Arthur Nisio made visible gaps that must be fulfilled by different actors from the field of Arts, Cultural and Social Heritage and Conservation and Restoration.
