Durante o segundo ano de Mestrado em Som e Imagem com especialização em Animação por computador, os estudantes têm a oportunidade de escolher entre três modalidades para completar o percurso académico: dissertação, projeto final ou estágio académico. Neste relatório, é relatado o estágio académico realizado na empresa “Bando à Parte”, um estúdio de filmes com sede em Guimarães e com um ramo de animação localizado no Porto. Para o estágio, integrou-se na equipa de realização do filme “Homem do Lixo”, um filme de animação 2D produzido por Laura Gonçalves. Ao longo deste relatório estão descritas, em detalhe, todas as etapas do estágio, juntamente com uma explicação de todas as funções e responsabilidades atribuídas. Inicialmente, haverá uma apresentação da entidade acolhedora e dos objetivos gerais do estágio. Seguidamente, falar-se-á do plano de estágio, que será acompanhado de um cronograma de atividades realizadas durante os oito meses de estágio. Depois, o relatório entrará em detalhe sobre as funções realizadas e a pesquisa que foi necessária para concretizar estes mesmos objetivos. Por último, o relatório terminará com uma reflexão critica sobre o trabalho realizado, os objetivos cumpridos e os aspetos positivos e negativos da experiência de estágio.
During the second year of the master’s degree in Sound and Image with specialization in Computer Animation, students are given the opportunity to choose from three options to complete their academic studios: dissertation, final project, or an academic internship. In this document, the academic internship carried out in the company “Bando à Parte”, a Guimarães-based movie studio with an animation branch located in Porto, is thoroughly documented. To complete this internship, the student was integrated in the team responsible with developing the film “Homem do Lixo”, a 2D animated film produced by Laura Gonçalves. During this paper, every single step of the internship is documented in full detail, along with an explanation of all the task and responsibilities attributed. Initially, there shall be a presentation of the company and the main objectives present during the internship. Secondly, it will talk about the plan for the internship, which will be a section accompanied by a chronogram of activities realized during the eight months of the internship. Afterwards, the report will go into greater detail about the tasks that were assigned and the research that was needed to complete these same tasks. Finally, the report ends with a personal critical reflection of the internship, the tasks that were accomplished and the positive and negative aspects of this experience.
