Abstract(s)
The Final Report presented was carried out within the scope of the Master in Music Teaching and is divided into two parts: The Professional Practice Report (PP) and the Pedagogical Intervention Project (PIP). The first part refers to the description of the path taken during the professional internship at the Conservatório de Música da Metropolitana, in the 2021/2022 academic year, within the specialization area of Instrument Class and Ensemble Class. During the professional internship, several activities were carried out, among which stand out the classes I taught, the classes I taught with supervision, the classes attended, the student auditions held, the dynamization and development of actions related to the theme of Anxiety in Musical Performance and the production of didactic materials. The second part presents the Pedagogical Intervention Project under the theme: “Anxiety in Musical Performance, in a learning context: Contribution to the awareness and sensitization of the educational community towards its mitigation”, in the form of a scientific article. The central question of the Pedagogical Intervention Project (PIP) is exposed as follows: How will it be possible to raise awareness and sensitize students to the issues of Anxiety in Musical Performance, in order to create strategies to mitigate it, in a learning context? In this way, I present the development of a pedagogical intervention, using the research-action methodology, which was characterized by a set of five pedagogical sessions - workshops/conferences - taught by five specialists in different areas, such as performance in general, musical performance, psychology applied to music, mental training and the Health Coach, having the problem under study as the main guideline. This pedagogical intervention was attended by eleven students from the listed classes. The results obtained were outstandingly positive and demonstrate that this intervention had a transforming effect on the group of participating students, highlighting the importance of carrying out initiatives of this nature on a regular basis, in order to provide students with tools and strategies to deal with APM.
