A evolução das novas tecnologias trouxe consigo o crescimento e evolução das redes
sociais e novas formas de as pessoas comunicarem com os outros, mudando os
paradigmas da comunicação. Consequentemente, algumas profissões tiveram que se
saber adaptar a este novo sistema e meio de comunicação, entre elas, os profissionais do
jornalismo.
O presente trabalho tem o objetivo de refletir sobre o papel dos jornalistas, mais
concretamente, jornalistas de entretenimento e revistas de entretenimento, diante da
evolução da Internet e com ela a evolução das celebridades contemporâneas e, responder
a questões acerca de como os meios de comunicação se adaptaram e adaptam a estas
novas celebridades e vice-versa.
Visou-se, através de entrevistas e análise de conteúdo a notícias e Instagram, apurar se
existe alguma linearidade na construção de notícias sobre influenciadores, tendo em conta
a sua imagem no Instagram e se o chamado Jornalismo de Entretenimento se está a focar
mais nestas celebridades contemporâneas ou se será apenas uma fase de uma nova
geração e tempo.
Com esta investigação, foi possível perceber que as celebridades contemporâneas – ditos
influenciadores digitais – são mencionadas em notícias, simplesmente, mas não só,
porque as mesmas retratam os assuntos da atualidade e da sociedade. Quer isto dizer que
as celebridades tradicionais não serão esquecidas e, que mais tarde, poderá vir a haver
uma diluição destes dois termos. Constatou-se ainda que a imagem e linguagem das
celebridades contemporâneas no Instagram, personalidade, projetos e ideias são fulcrais
para os conteúdos jornalísticos.
The evolution of news technologies brought the growth and evolution of social media and new ways on how to communicate with others, changing communication paradigms. Consequently, some professions had to learn on how to adapt to this new method and system of communication, among them, journalists. Therefore, the present work aims to reflect on the role of journalists, more concretely, entertainment journalists and entertainment magazines, in the face of evolution of the Internet and with it the evolution of contemporary celebrities and, answer questions about how the media have adapted and adapt to these new celebrities and vice-versa. The goal was, through interviews and content analysis to news and Instagram posts, to find out it there is any linearity in the construction of news about influencers, taking into account their image in Instagram and if the so-called entertainment journalism is focusing more on these contemporary celebrities or if it will just be a phase of a news generation and time. With this dissertation, it was possible to realize that contemporary celebrities – the so called digital influencers – are mentioned in the news, simply, but not only, because they portray current affairs. This means that traditional celebrities will not be forgotten and that later on, there may be a dilution of these two terms. We could also note that the image and language of contemporary celebrities in Instagram, personality, projects and ideas are central to the journalistic content.
