Abstract(s)
ensino/aprendizagem.
Issues concerning music schools and teaching instrument still seem to favor the idea and of methods of teaching proposals rather than more conceptual discussions, which suggests the need to expand this field of research and action beyond the technical and musical contents. The study is part of the problem of teacher/student interaction in individual instrument class, the relevance of the teacher’s "fingerprint" and aims to examine how teachers and students of a stringed instrument, a professional school of music, deal with this respect and will benefit from it in the teaching / learning process. The objetive is to understand the role of pedagogical relationships while facilitating academic success, to identify the influence of the communication, understanding the impact on students’ autonomy and creativity and complete the essential characteristics that instrument teachers should seek. It is intended to adopt a research methodology focussed on a case study of an essentially qualitative, in order to study in depth the instrument classes at various levels and stringed instruments of ARTAVE to understand the importance of interaction in a half of the year elapsed school year 2011/12, was in the way of teaching and learning performance of the stringed instrument and how culturally rooted factors (tradition and heritage of learned models, the teacher isolation and power dynamics) and the methodological strategies prevaling in one to one teaching may or may not condition the learning and success in musical performance. The information will be collected through indirect observation, using differents instruments: interviews, focus group and observation in video recording.
