Abstract(s)
O presente estudo procura compreender o contributo da Música na formação
integral de crianças e jovens com Necessidades Educativas Especiais, concretamente
crianças e jovens com Paralisia Cerebral, que frequentam o segundo ciclo do ensino
básico.
Para a consecução do estudo, e garantir a acessibilidade, utilizámos
ferramentas educativas e as Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TIC).
Pressupõe-se que a aplicação destes recursos viabilize a expressão artística e musical,
traduzindo-se em progressos qualitativos do processo comunicacional. Interessa analisar
os efeitos ao nível da motivação e do desenvolvimento de competências musicais nos
alunos e, principalmente, de competências de comunicação.
Em suma, pretende-se que a Música, simultaneamente forma de expressão
artística e linguagem universal, contribua para o bem-estar e possibilite melhoria da
Qualidade de Vida.
The present research intends to understand the contribution of Music to the full development of children and youngsters with Special Education Needs, namely children and youngsters with Cerebral Palsy attending the second cycle of basic school. In order to accomplish this research, as well as to ensure accessibility, we have employed educational tools and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). We assume that the use of these resources will enable the artistic and musical expression, bringing about qualitative progress in the communicative process. We intend to analyse its effects in terms of motivation and the students' development of musical skills and, mainly, of communication skills. In short, it is expected that Music, simultaneously a form of artistic expression and universal language, provides for the well-being and helps improve people's life Quality.
