Abstract(s)
A avaliação institucional é actualmente um instrumento indispensável de gestão
necessária para se mensurar os esforços da organização escolar, na sua qualidade,
utilidade e relevância, na senda da excelência, Para tal, ele deve ser um processo
democrático, abrangente, participativo e contínuo. Por isso, há cada vez mais escolas a
entenderem esta importância accionando processos de auto-avaliação ou contratando
avaliações externas. A nossa investigação junto das Escolas Missionárias de Cabinda
mostrou que as mesmas ainda não instituíram dispositivos internos ou externos de
avaliação institucional, mas há algumas condições para que venham a seguir esse
caminho para melhoria eficaz da qualidade do seu sistema de ensino.
Institutional assessment is nowadays an indispensable management tool needed to measure the efforts of school organization, its quality, usefulness and relevance, in the path of excellence To this purpose, it should be a democratic process, comprehensive, participatory and continuous. Therefore, there are increasing schools understanding this importance triggering processes of self-evaluation or hiring external evaluations. Our research at the School of Mission of Cabinda has shown that these devices do not currently have internal or external institutional evaluation, but there are some conditions that will follow this path to effective improvement of the quality of its education system.
