Abstract(s)
In the scope of the Professional Internship of the Master's Degree in Music Teaching, this document is structured in two distinct parts: the internship dossier referring to the Supervised Teaching Practice course and the Intervention Project referring to the Pedagogical Intervention Project curricular unit. These were held at the Vila Real Regional Music Conservatory during the academic year 2016/2017, under the guidance of Professor Maria Guilhermina Castro (scientific advisor) and Professor Luís Filipe Santos (pedagogical advisor). In the first part of the document, the pedagogical practice performed with the instrument class (clarinet), with the class of ensemble (Orchestra of Winds) and all educational practices developed with the school community is presented. In the second part, the pedagogical intervention project entitled "The optimization of breathing in the wind musicians" is described, in which the main objectives were to sensitize students to the importance of respiratory exercises and to optimize breathing in instrumental performance. In the scope of the Pedagogical Intervention Project, the techniques used for the collection and production of data were: the Questionnaire Survey (IQ) to the participating students and Direct Observation. The tools of analysis, treatment and interpretation of the data used in this research were the statistical analysis and content of the responses to the IQ. It also serves the present report to enable the student to express his / her learning through the practice of teaching, from a critical point of view, thus enabling, developing and evolving professional competences for the professional functions of teachers, such as planning, evaluation, the mediation of knowledge, pedagogical differentiation and the promotion of learning with quality and equity.
