| dc.description.abstract | A parábola do “pai misericordioso” (Lc 15,11-32), o coração do terceiro Evangelho, diz-nos muito acerca de Jesus, da Sua mensagem e dos seus interlocutores. O texto transporta consigo uma história única e irrepetível, com uma originalidade que fala por si. Antes de tirar conclusões, importa perceber o seu sitz-im-leben, de modo a compreender a sua origem e mensagem central. A análise e os aspetos sócio religiosos do texto, enquadrado na globalidade do Evangelho de Lucas, constituem as premissas para a focalização das suas personagens, nas motivações, nos traços e nas atitudes que as caraterizam. A misericórdia é o principal filamento que atravessa este texto, ainda que apenas se encontre nas ações da personagem principal, o pai. Além disso, é a caraterística principal de quem contou a parábola, Jesus. Os dois filhos tipificam os seus interlocutores: fariseus e doutores da Lei (filho mais velho); pecadores e publicanos (filho mais novo). No entanto, a parábola não se restringe ao exercício da misericórdia, mas tem em vista a salvação, preconizada no banquete final. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The parable of the “merciful father” (Luke 15:11-32), being the core of the third gospel, tells us a great deal about Jesus, His message and interlocutors. The texts contains a unique and unrepeatable story with remarkable originality. Before drawing any conclusions, it is important to understand the sitz-im-leben of the text in order to comprehend its origin and central message. The text analysis and the social and religious aspects therein are taken in relation with the whole of the gospel of Luke, as the premises for focusing the characters in their respective motivations, features and distinctive behavior. Mercy is the main thread running through this text, despite being present only in the actions of the main character, the father. Moreover, mercy is the chief characteristic of the man telling the parable, Jesus. The two sons typify His interlocutors: the Pharisees and the Doctors of the Law (typified by the older son) and the sinners and the publicans (typified by the younger son). Nevertheless, the parable is not restricted to the exercise of mercy, instead it points to salvation, as announced in the final banquet. | pt_PT |
