Expõe-se uma reflexão sobre o desafio que a educação para a responsabilidade social
constitui para a disciplina de Educação Moral e Religiosa Católica, reflexão que tem a sua
origem na análise das Metas M. «Reconhecer a proposta do agir ético cristão em situações vitais
do quotidiano», N. «Promover o bem comum e o cuidado do outro» e O. «Amadurecer a sua
responsabilidade perante a pessoa, a comunidade e o mundo» do programa de Educação Moral
e Religiosa Católica. Esta reflexão culmina na abordagem crítica do tema à luz da lecionação
do 5.º Ano de Escolaridade, realizada no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada
desenvolvida na Salesianos de Manique-Escola.
O estudo que aqui se desenvolve parte duma abordagem mais geral da educação, passa
pelo contexto legislativo português, confronta-se com o âmbito do Magistério da Igreja, em
especial da Doutrina Social da Igreja, e tem o seu termo na especificidade da disciplina de
Educação Moral e Religiosa Católica.
Ao longo do relatório faz-se uma tentativa de clarificação do conceito de responsabilidade
social em contexto de Educação Moral e Religiosa Católica, pela análise dos objetivos e dos
conteúdos expostos no programa; explana-se o tema, procurando encontrar os fios condutores
e os pontos fulcrais, apresentando também uma reflexão sobre os desafios educacionais que
esta categoria coloca à disciplina de Educação Moral e Religiosa Católica.
This work presents a reflection on the challenge that education for social responsibility poses to the discipline of Catholic Moral and Religious Education, a reflection that has its origin in the analysis of the Goals M - "Recognizing the proposal of Christian ethical action in vital situations of daily life”, N - "Promoting the common good and the care for the other" and O - "Mature one’s responsibility towards the person, the community and the world" of the Catholic Moral and Religious Education programme. This reflection culminates in the critical approach of the theme in light of the teaching of the 5th Schooling Year, carried out within the Supervised Teaching Practice developed in the “Salesianos de Manique-Escola”. The study developed here is part of a more general approach to education, goes through the Portuguese legislative context, confronts with the scope of the Church Magisterium, especially the Social Doctrine of the Church, and ends up in the specificity of the discipline of Catholic Moral and Religious Education. Throughout the report, we attempt to clarify the concept of social responsibility in the context of Catholic Moral and Religious Education, by analysing the objectives and the contents exposed in the programme; the theme is explained, trying to find the leading threads and the focal points, also reflecting on the educational challenges that this category poses to the discipline of Catholic Moral and Religious Education.
