O tráfico de menores pode ter diversos fins, como é o caso da escravatura, exploração laboral, adoção e a exploração sexual. No presente trabalho o foco será a análise do tráfico de menores para fins de exploração sexual, particularmente a prostituição. Este fenómeno não é recente, porém, à medida que os anos têm passado, somos assombrados pelo crescente número de menores afetados, ou seja, assistiu-se a uma evolução nas últimas décadas. Podemos, por um lado, associar o crescimento deste flagelo humano à massificação dos media, à globalização, como irá ser desenvolvido mais à frente, e por outro lado, a crescente sensibilização para o tema também é maior devido a esses mesmos meios. Neste sentido, em parte devido à minha formação ter por base a Criminologia e pelo facto de cada vez mais ser alvo de campanhas de sensibilização sobre esta questão que afeta toda a população. Irá ser feita uma análise da evolução em termos históricos, tanto a nível nacional como internacional dos dois crimes que proponho comparar, com o intuito delinear a sua mutação ao longo dos anos, associada à constante mudança de mentalidade, bens jurídicos tutelados, e numa parte final encontrar-se-ão algumas questões que levantei acerca do fenómeno em estudo, diferentes formas de recrutamento, características dos ofensores e fatores de vulnerabilidade das vítimas.
The subject under study, trafficking minors can have several purposes, such as slavery, labor exploitation, adoption and sexual exploitation. For the present work I will focus on the analysis of the trafficking of minors associated with sexual exploitation, particularly the prostitution of minors. The case of sexual exploitation has a wide extension, being divided in crimes such as prostitution, sex tourism and pornography. This phenomenon is not recent, but as the years have passed, we are haunted by the growing number of children affected, that is, we have witnessed almost an evolution in the last decades. In one hand, we can associate the growth of this human scourge with mass media, globalization, as will be developed later, and on the other hand, the growing awareness of the issue is also greater due to the same means. In this sense, in part due to my training being based on Criminology and the fact that increasingly be the target of awareness campaigns on this issue that affects the entire population. There will be an analysis of the historical evolution, both nationally and internationally, of the two crimes that I propose to compare, in order to delineate their mutation over the years, associated with the constant change of mentality, namely the legal instruments currently implemented , and at the international level, and at the national level, protected legal interests, and in a final part will be some questions that I raised about the phenomenon under study, different forms of recruitment, characteristics of the offenders and factors of vulnerability of the victims.
