    Publication . Mora, António Chenoll
The process of teaching and learning foreign languages in an online and multimedia context is one of the disciplines that, in its adaptation, has found a large number of benefits. Authentic texts, videos or digital audios are the elements that are already part of any course, no matter their degree of presence is. So much so that we can say that a course without digital resources, in a context without significant digital divide, is not potentially an optimized course. If, in addition to digital resources, we add the use of social networks as a bridge between formal and informal instruction; we add the component of reality, significant learning and multimodality that a language course really needs. In this paper we will see how a formal course of a foreign language can be favored by an ecosystem that combines a formal instruction (necessary for any learning of an L2) with an informal instruction (that feeds the concept of acquisition) through online elements and social networks

Publication . Nobre, Ana María Ferreira; Barros, Daniela Melaré Vieira; Mora, António Chenoll; Burgués, Ana Setién
The present work results from the study carried out in the scope of the pedagogical practice in higher education in e-learning. We observe a qualitative and necessary improvement of online and e-learning teaching practices in their pedagogical models, the general theoretical panorama in education emphasizes the need to reinforce and improve the didactic structures of online teaching, but there is a shortage of didactic transposition instruments for this to occur. In this scenario and with the objective of contributing to fill this gap, we propose through pedagogical and technological didactic elements in online and e-learning contexts, an observation grid based on the model, DK eLearning-TPCK of Amador et al. (2016). The methodological procedures were supported by bibliographic references, reflections and discussions that accompanied the various phases of the study in the creation and validation of grids. We present an example applied in the area of Spanish language and culture and propose a theoretical framework to support development and its results.
    Publication . Mora, António Chenoll
It is impossible not to learn. Every average brain is capable of acquiring new declarative knowledge in any context. What matters in the formal learning process is the optimization in the triangle created between the effort dedicated in this process, the quality of learning and the unchangeable durability of the developed competences. In this sense, innovation is a concept empty of meaning from the point of view of learning. We do not just need methods, contexts or new hardware; we need improved methods, contexts and hardware that are adapted to our current needs. Therefore, learning in the digital context minimizes many of the impediments that keep us from obtaining a more adequate optimization level, but like learning in manuals, we must select what gets better results in the optimization context of active learners. This paper will critically analyze the concept of innovation and its connection with optimization in the process of acquisition of non-native languages in an on-line context.

    Publication . Chenoll, Antonio
This paper aims to delineate the importance of knowing explicitly the conditioning factors of the reading process from a contextual perspective (digital and analog) for an optimization of the learning process in speakers of related languages. For this, a quantitative test was designed to measure in a more objective way the construction capacity of a linguistic brain whose mother tongue has such marked affinities as Portuguese in relation to Spanish. Making a point of comparison between both groups helped us to know the level at which students use in a more or less complete way the information bias as an element of cognitive saving. The results of this comparison help us to affirm that there is a difference in both contexts and recommending, according to which situations, to use one format or another depending on our needs as teachers or as learners.
