- A condição da mulher nos sectores do cinema e do audiovisual em PortugalPublication . Burnay, Catarina Duff; Félix, João; Tavares, PatríciaThis study on the Condition of Women in the Film and Audiovisual Sectors in Portugal was promoted by MUTIM – Mulheres Trabalhadoras das Imagens em Movimento, an association founded in 2022, whose mission is precisely to think about and leverage the presence of women in cinema and audiovisual in Portugal, promoting parity and equitable representation, and by XX Element Project-Associação Cultural, a cultural association founded in 2016 that seeks to be an agent of intervention in the fight to promote equity, respect and inclusion of all people, through the development of artistic projects. In order to listen to the feelings and experiences of the women involved professionally in these sectors, the two associations created an online survey questionnaire and distributed it to workers in these fields without any gender bias. In a second phase, in-depth interviews were carried out with ten female professionals, as a way of identifying/specifying particular situations and complementing the information found in the survey. Simultaneously, the associations analysed three grants awarded by ICA: New Talents and First Works; Support for Cinema; and Support for Audiovisual and Multimedia. They also mapped the gender of professionals holding managerial positions in public bodies that support the cinema and audiovisual sectors, as well as in the most relevant management bodies and boards of the three main audiovisual media groups in Portugal.

There is also some misunderstanding regarding the role of the supervisor/tutor, although significant differences are observed in the approaches across different scientific fields. This topic needs further reflection. The paper considers the quality of supervision and progress monitoring in doctoral education paths.

- Memórias da rádio e do colonialismo: estórias de portugueses e de moçambicanos de origem goesa na pós-colonialidadePublication . Valdigem, CatarinaNeste artigo discuto o lugar da rádio enquanto objecto de memória e evocativo de subjec - tividades (pós)coloniais de portugueses e moçambicanos de origem goesa, residentes du - rante cerca de 10 ou mais anos no Moçambique colonial. O meu propósito é o de reflectir sobre a necessidade de se articular o estudo das memórias da rádio com o da história deste medium, além de sublinhar o valor epistémico das memórias da rádio colonial na produção da crítica pós-colonial no contexto lusófono. Enquanto objecto de memória, a rádio é aqui abordada na sua dupla qualidade material e de mediação: primeiro como objecto físico usado e manuseado pelos sujeitos no seu contexto de vida doméstico e/ ou social privado passado; segundo, enquanto objecto de prática de escuta de sons rememorados no decurso de narrativas biográficas. Mas a rádioé também aqui agente na produção de subjectividades pós-coloniais de sujeitos de origem goesa, fornecendo-lhes a possibilidade de reflectir retrospectivamente sobre práticas so - ciais quotidianas e sobre os seus contextos de vida no contexto colonial. Nesta medida, a rádio assume um lugar de arquivo de memórias vividas no e do colonialismo, contribuindo por isso para se repensar a própria história colonial, a rádio colonial e as subjectividades pós-coloniais.
