Abstract(s)
Esta dissertação tem como objetivo compreender de que forma as Tecnologias da
Informação e Comunicação (TIC) impactam a Gestão do Conhecimento nas
organizações contemporâneas, fenómeno enquadrado por uma revisão da literatura
sobre a Gestão do Conhecimento no contexto organizacional.
Se, outrora, na história das organizações, as “máquinas” e a tecnologia, per si, eram
suficientes para gerar lucro e garantir o sucesso às organizações, hoje, questões como o
Conhecimento e o Capital Intelectual dos colaboradores da organização são
considerados importantíssimos para a constante readaptação ao contexto externo,
evolução e obtenção de sucesso. Nesta esteira, a Gestão do Conhecimento, ao facilitar o
acesso e ao promover a partilha de informação na organização, constitui uma temática
relevante de ser discutida.
A revisão da literatura encontra-se estruturada no debate de duas grandes temática, com
o objetivo final de compreender a interligação e impacto de ambas.
A primeira temática a explorar será a Gestão do Conhecimento, debateremos o tema na
ótica organizacional, compreendendo o conceito e suas implicações no quotidiano das
organizações contemporâneas. Para este efeito, aprofundaremos subtemas tais como:
Capital Intelectual nas Organizações; Motivações para a Partilha de Conhecimento;
Relação entre Novas Tecnologias e o Conhecimento; Transferência e Perecibilidade do
Conhecimento.
O segundo tema tratará a Comunicação Interna nas Organizações, tentando perceber a
relevância, vantagens e potencialidades da mesma. Neste sentido, abordaremos
temáticas como: Propósitos da Comunicação; Principais Redes e Modelos de
Comunicação.
Em termos metodológicos a dissertação apresentada sustenta-se na aplicação de duas
técnicas de obtenção de dados, para posterior análise. Trata-se da elaboração e aplicação
de inquérito por questionário aos elementos da Egor Recursos Humanos, bem como, a
elaboração de uma entrevista com um responsável – quadro superior da mesma organização. A construção das questões abordadas, no inquérito por questionário e na
entrevista, teve como sustentação teórica os principais modelos e investigações
previamente apresentados na revisão de literatura efectuada.
Os principais resultados obtidos revelam que a organização estudada considera a
Partilha do Conhecimento como fator de diferenciação e evolução da Egor Recursos
Humanos, valorizando o papel das TIC e da Comunicação Interna como promotores da
mencionada Partilha de Conhecimento. Por outro lado, foram igualmente apurados
resultados que demonstram a receptividade dos colaboradores aos incentivos à Partilha
de Conhecimento, na organização estudada.
The aim of this essay is to understand how Management Knowledge and Communication influence technologies on contemporary organizations, framed by a literary review on Management Knowledge in its organizational context. If, once, in the history of organizations, machinery and technology, per se, were enough to generate income and ensure the success of organizations nowadays issues like intellectual capital of organization employees are considered very important to ongoing adaptation, development of external context and in achieving success. This way, by helping access and promoting information trade in the organization, Management Knowledge is a relevant issue to be discussed. The literary review is structured on debating two major thematics, with the ultimate goal of understanding the connection and impact of both. The first issue to explore is Knowledge Management. We intend to discuss the issue in an organizational point of view, understanding the concept and its implications in the daily life of contemporary organizations. For this effort subthemes like: Intelectual Organizational Capital; Drivers for Knowledge Sharing; Relation between Knowledge and New Technologies; Transfer and Expiration of Knowledge. The second theme will address the Internal Communication in Organizations, trying to understand its importance, advantages and capabilities. Thus, approaching matters like: Communication Objectives; Main Communication Models and Networks. Method wise, the presented essay is based on the application of two data recovery techniques, for further analysis. It is the elaboration of inquiries by survey to Egor Human Resources elements, as well as the making of an interview with a person in charge – same organizations’ high ranking. The construction of the issues approached in the survey by inquire and on the interview was theoretically based on models and investigations previously presented on the literary review. The main results show that the target organization considers Knowledge Sharing as a differential and evolutional factor of Egor Human Resources, valuing the role of IT and Internal Communication as promotors of the already mentioned Knowledge Sharing. On the other hand, results were equally calculated which show workers reactiveness to Knowledge Sharing, in the studied organization.
