Abstract(s)
“As pessoas que se encontram a viver processos de sofrimento, alteração ou
perturbação mental têm ganhos em saúde quando cuidados por enfermeiros
especialistas em enfermagem de saúde mental (EESM), diminuindo significativamente o
grau de incapacidade, que estas perturbações originam”. (Regulamento nº 129/2011 de
18 de fevereiro – Regulamento das Competências Específicas do Enfermeiro
Especialista de Enfermagem de Saúde Mental)
O presente Relatório foi realizado no âmbito do Estágio de Enfermagem de Saúde
Mental e Psiquiatria, e tem como principal objetivo descrever o percurso efetuado e as
competências desenvolvidas e adquiridas nesta área de especialização. Este trabalho
pretende relatar, através de uma análise crítico-reflexiva, as atividades realizadas no
decorrer da prática clínica, nos três Módulos de Estágio, de forma a alcançar os
objetivos constantes no Plano de Estudos do Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem de
Saúde Mental e Psiquiatria, bem como os objetivos pessoais de aprendizagem
delineados.
O Módulo I, de promoção de estilos de vida saudáveis, decorreu no Hospital de Dia do
Centro Hospitalar de São João. Pudemos prestar cuidados à população abrangida por
este Hospital, visando intervenções direcionadas à comunidade na área da saúde mental,
essencialmente na área do idoso.
O Módulo II, de intervenção em crise, decorreu no Serviço de Internamento em
Psiquiatria do Centro Hospitalar de São João. Aqui foi possível prestar cuidados ao
indivíduo em fase aguda, implementando atividades com fim terapêutico, tendo sido
privilegiada a intervenção em grupo.
O Módulo III, opcional, decorreu no Serviço de Psicogeriatria do Hospital de
Magalhães Lemos. Neste contexto, direcionamos essencialmente a nossa intervenção
para a valência de Hospital de Dia, no qual pudemos prestar cuidados à pessoa idosa,
nomeadamente contribuindo para a preservação das capacidades cognitivas.
O Relatório reflete os ganhos em saúde para os utentes, suas famílias e cuidadores como
consequência de intervenções de Enfermagem especializadas. Em suma, o presente
Relatório pretende espelhar o caminho desenvolvido para o alcance dos objetivos
delineados, bem como os resultados alcançados, recorrendo a uma prática reflexiva
acerca das competências adquiridas enquanto Enfermeira Especialista em Enfermagem
de Saúde Mental e Psiquiatria.
"People who are living suffering processes, change or mental disturbance have health gains when care by specialist nurses in mental health nursing (EESM), significantly reducing the degree of incapacity, which these disorders originate". (Regulation No 129/2011 of 18 february - Regulation of Specific Competencies of Nurse Mental Health Nursing Specialist) This report was carried out under the Mental Health Nursing Internship and Psychiatry, and aims to describe the journey made and the skills developed and acquired in this area of expertise. This paper intends to report, through a critical and reflective analysis, the activities performed in the course of clinical practice, the three stage modules, in order to achieve the objectives set out in the Master's Course Syllabus in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing as well as personal goals outlined learning. Module I, promotion of healthy lifestyles, held at the Hospital of the Day Hospital of Centro Hospitalar de São João. We were able to provide care to the population covered by this hospital, targeting interventions to the community in the mental health area, mainly in the old area. Module II, intervention in crisis, held in Inpatient Psychiatry Service at the Hospital of Centro Hospitalar de São João. Here it was possible to provide care to the individual in the acute phase, implementing activities with therapeutic purposes, having been privileged group intervention. Module III, optional, held at Magalhães Lemos Hospital Psychogeriatrics Service. In this context, essentially we direct our intervention for the Day Hospital of valence, in which we provide care for the elderly, in particular by contributing to the preservation of cognitive abilities. The Report reflects the health gains for users, their families and caregivers as a result of specialist nursing interventions. In short, this report is intended to reflect the way developed to achieve the outlined goals and the results achieved, using a reflective practice on skills acquired while Nurse Specialist in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing.
