Esta dissertação aborda, no âmbito da teologia histórica, os principais traços da articulação entre a vida e a obra de Justino, mártir, situando o seu percurso e o seu martírio como conversão e identificação com a Jesus Cisto. A sua conversão como o encontro com a autêntica verdade que defende e testemunha até dar a vida por ela.
Esta personalidade marcante do cristianismo do século II tem sido considerada como expressão existencial entre a sua atividade enquanto filósofo e a sua adesão à fé cristã, tomada como método e sabedoria salvífica. Dele temos a apresentação do batismo e da eucaristia na sua estruturação ritual e de significado, em que destacou a centralidade da relação entre o Logos e o Espírito Santo possibilitando, assim, a afirmação existencial e prática da existência cristã.
This dissertation addresses, within the scope of historical theology, the main features of the articulation between the life and work of Justin, a martyr, situating his path and his martyrdom as conversion and identification to Jesus Christ. His conversion occurred when he encounter ed with the authentic truth that he then defends and witnesses to the posit of even giveny his life for it. This remarkable personality of the 2nd century of the Christianity has been considered as an existential expression between his activity as a philosopher and his adherence to the Christian faith, taken as a method and as saving wisdom. From him we have the presentation of baptism and the Eucharist in its ritual and meaningful structure, where he highlighted the centrality of the relat between the Logos and the Holy Spirit, thus enabling the existential and practical affirmation of Christian existence.
