Abstract(s)
O percurso escolar dos jovens a quem foi aplicada a medida de proteção em
acolhimento residencial tem constituído um tema de elevada importância social devido às
consequências que a medida acarreta na dimensão escolar. Sendo a escola um contexto que
contribui para o desenvolvimento pessoal dos jovens, nos diferentes domínios, torna-se
necessário a realização de estudos que incidam nesta problemática de modo a permitir uma
compreensão mais sustentada e por conseguinte uma melhor intervenção face ao problema.
Assim, o objetivo deste estudo passa por caracterizar o percurso e situação escolar dos jovens
incidindo na experiência do acolhimento, contexto escolar e projeto de vida.
Relativamente à experiência do acolhimento, os resultados apontam que a medida foi
aplicada sobretudo devido à negligência na prestação de cuidados e acompanhamento. No que
concerne ao contexto escolar, a relação entre a idade e o nível de instrução evidencia uma
elevada taxa de insucesso. Quanto ao projeto de vida destaca-se a reintegração familiar
incidindo, por isso, as estratégias para a implementação desse projeto no domínio familiar.
The school curriculum to whom was applied in residential care protection measure has been a subject of great social importance because of the consequences that the measure entails in school size. As the school a context that contributes to the personal development of young people in the different areas, it is necessary to carry out studies focusing on this issue in order to allow a more sustained and therefore a better understanding intervention address the problem. Thus, the aim of this study involves characterizing the course and educational situation of young people focusing on hosting experience, school context and life project. Regarding the hosting experience, the results indicate that the measure was applied mainly due to negligence in the care and monitoring. With regard to the school context, the relationship between age and education level shows a high failure rate. As for the life of the project there is the re (integration) family focusing, so the strategies for the implementation of this project in the family domain.
