O presente relatório surge no âmbito do Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem com Especialização em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica na Área da Pessoa em Situação Crítica. Ao longo do documento são descritas e analisadas situações vivenciadas nos diferentes contextos de prática clínica em que tive oportunidade de desenvolver competências de enfermeira especialista. Este pretende demonstrar todo o percurso realizado, defendendo a aquisição das Competências Específicas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem Médico Cirúrgica assim como ilustrar as Competências de Mestre. Os estágios foram realizados num Serviço de Medicina Intensiva e num Serviço de Urgência Geral, sendo que neste último foi-me proporcionado um curto estágio de observação de 24 horas na Viatura Médica de Emergência e Reanimação. Concomitantemente e concorrente para as competências de mestre, foi desenvolvida uma revisão de escopo sobre o tema “Cuidado ao Doente Crítico com Síndrome de Dificuldade Respiratória Aguda sob Ventilação Mecânica Invasiva em Posição Prone”. Através da sua realização e partilha nos diferentes contextos de estágio posterior divulgação pretendeu-se contribuir para uma melhoria na prestação de cuidados de enfermagem à pessoa em situação crítica ventilada em posição prone, subsidiando o avançar e o melhorar de forma continua a prática de enfermagem.
This report comes within the scope of the Master's Course in Specialized Critical Care Nursing, at the Health Sciences Institute of Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Throughout the report I will describe and analyze the experiences I had in the different settings of clinical practice in which I had the opportunity to develop skills as a future specialist nurse. The internships were carried out both in an Intensive Care Unit and in a General Emergency Service, and in the later I was allowed a short 24 hour internship in the Emergency and Resuscitation Medical Vehicle. Simultaneously, a scope review was developed on the topic “Care for the Critically Ill Patient with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, under Invasive Mechanical Ventilation, in Prone Position”. Through its data sharing and knowledge exchange, it is intended to contribute to improvements in the provision of nursing care to the Person in Critical Situation ventilated in a prone position.
