Abstract(s)
Este relatório, realizado no âmbito do Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem na Área de Especialização de Enfermagem de Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica, apresenta a descrição, a análise e a reflexão de todo o percurso realizado ao longo dos estágios, que levou à aquisição de competências pessoais, competências do enfermeiro especialista em enfermagem de saúde da criança e do jovem e competências comuns de enfermeiro especialista e de mestre. A temática transversal deste relatório relaciona-se com as intervenções do enfermeiro para a prevenção dos maus tratos na criança, fundamentando a minha prática ao longo dos estágios através do Modelo de Promoção da Saúde de Nola Pender, que identifica e esquematiza conceitos determinantes para o envolvimento do enfermeiro na promoção da saúde. De maneira a sustentar a minha prática foi também realizada uma revisão scoping da literatura, na qual cheguei à conclusão que uma das intervenções do enfermeiro que mais importância tem na prevenção dos maus tratos infantis é a identificação dos seus sinais de risco, para que haja uma intervenção precoce e seja evitada a situação de perigo na criança. No decorrer dos estágios foram desenvolvidas atividades de modo a atingir os objetivos por mim propostos em cada um deles, destacando-se: a realização de uma proposta de documento de sinalização da criança para o serviço social, numa Unidade de Cuidados Especiais ao Recém-Nascido, que resultou na implementação do mesmo pela equipa de enfermagem; a realização de um fluxograma de intervenção após a identificação de sinais de risco de maus tratos na criança e sua implementação num serviço de oncologia pediátrica de modo a facilitar e dinamizando as intervenções a serem desenvolvidas pela equipa de enfermagem após a identificação de situações de risco de maus tratos ou situações de perigo à criança; e a realização e implementação de um documento de identificação dos sinais e sintomas de maus tratos infantis de modo a ajudar a equipa de enfermagem no serviço de urgência pediátrica onde estagiei. Todas as atividades realizadas enquadraram-se na promoção de saúde, uma vez que através da identificação de sinais de alarme sugestivos de risco de maus tratos na criança, pode ser prevenida a situação de perigo. Assim sendo, as atividades desenvolvidas neste relatório enquadram-se no Modelo de Promoção de Saúde de Nola Pender. Através dos resultados positivos nas atividades conclui-se que o tema deste relatório é de extrema relevância. Com a partilha e reflexão das experiências vivenciadas em estágio, tal como a reflexão durante a prática, tornou-se possível a aquisição de competências de enfermagem especializada.
This report, carried out within the course of the Master's Degree in Nursing in the Area of Specialization of Nursing in Child and Pediatric Health, presents the description, analysis and reflection of the entire course carried out during the internships, which led to the acquisition of personal, competences of nurse specialist in child and youth health, common skills of specialist nurse and master. The main theme of this report is nurse’s interventions for the prevention of child maltreatment, supporting the decision making through the theory about Health Promotion Model of Nola Pender, which identifies and diagrammatize concepts that are determinant for nurses' involvement of the nurse in health promotion. In order to support my practice, a scoping review was also carried out, where I concluded that the most important nurse’s intervention in prevention of child abuse is the identification of their risk signs, which makes early intervention possible avoiding the danger situation in the childhood. In the course of the internships, activities were carried out in order to achieve the objectives proposed by me in each of them, namely: a proposal for a child signaling document for social work in a special care unit for the newborn, which resulted in its implementation by the nursing team; the implementation of an intervention flowchart after identifying signs of risk of child abuse or identification of signals and symptoms of child maltreatment and its implementation in a pediatric oncology service in order to facilitate and stimulate the nursing team intervention in these cases; and the realization and implementation of a document to facilitate the identification of risk signs of child abuse and identification of signals and symptoms of child abuse in order to assist the nursing team in a pediatric emergency department. All the activities carried out fit in health promotion, since by identifying alarm signs suggestive of child abuse risk, we are preventing the danger situation for the child. Therefore, the activities developed in this report are based on the model of the Nola Pender Health Promotion Model. Through the positive results in the activities it is concluded that the theme of this report is extremely relevant. With the sharing and reflection of the lived experiences in internship, as the reflection during the practice, it became possible the acquisition of specialized nursing competences.
