Abstract(s)
O presente projeto de intervenção foi centrado no uso da técnica bimanual, com o intuito de promover um estudo mais prático do ritmo, nas aulas de Formação Musical e de Iniciação Musical, como resposta às dificuldades sentidas por parte dos alunos e dos professores. A abordagem ao ritmo realizada nas aulas até então pode ser descrita, pelos alunos e professores, como fastidiosa, deficiente e descontextualizada. Assim, um dos objetivos deste trabalho é implementar um novo conjunto de processos e metodologias que visam ir ao encontro das necessidades do aluno, tanto pelo seu carácter lúdico e motivador, como, acima de tudo, pelas competências técnicas e psico-motoras empregues, potencializando a capacidade de entendimento e execução do ritmo, necessários à formação integral de um músico. Pretende também ser um contributo no sentido de melhorar a relação ensino/aprendizagem para que os alunos sejam mais autónomos e críticos, podendo expandir e explorar todas as suas capacidades naturais e criativas. Potencia-se assim uma atividade baseada na experiência, onde a aplicação da técnica bimanual ou bidextra é o ponto central do estudo dando relevo às conclusões dos estudos mais recentes que apontam para a eficácia bastante relevante desta abordagem. O projeto foi implementado numa turma do 5.º grau de Formação Musical e numa turma de Iniciação Musical do 4.º ano escolar que serviram assim como grupo alvo do estudo.
The following research focuses on the theme for the intervention project which is centered in the use of the bimanual technique as a form of promoting a more practical approach of playing rhythm in the music education classroom, as a response to the difficulties demonstrated by students and pointed out by teachers. The approach to rhythm studies in most music classrooms has been regarded by pupils and teachers as boring, deficient and useless. One of the primary goals of this study was to create and introduce new processes that meet the needs of music students in general, not only by the ludic and motivational aspects, but also by the use technical and psychomotor activities, helping the student achieve an understanding and ability to perform rhythms which are crucial for the integral education of any musician. It aims to make a contribution so that student become more autonomous and self-critical, exploring his or her own natural capabilities and creativity in the search for a greater understanding and better performance of rhythm playing. Through the implementation of bimanual technique used by drummers and percussionists, it was through trial and experience that the foundations for these activities were based on. Besides making the most out of this approach, is the fact that recent studies have shown that it is quite effective in the teaching and learning processes alike. The project was carried out in a 5th grade class in music education, and 4th grade initiation. Both were considered to be target groups.
