A presente dissertação tem como objeto de estudo as tentações de Jesus (Mt 4, 1-11). Certamente tratar-se-à de um texto pertinente e enquadrado nos tempos hodiernos, dado que as tentações de Jesus são também as nossas, as quais confrontamos quotidianamente. Posto isto, iniciamos o nosso estudo centrando-nos no Evangelho de Mateus, concretamente na comunidade que lhe dá origem e em todos os aspetos a esta
relacionados. De seguida, atentamos no texto em grego e na sua tradução, delimitamos textualmente e estabelecemos as intertextualidades, com o Antigo testamento e com os evangelhos de Marcos e Lucas. Chegados ao cerne da questão – a teologia de Mt 4, 1-11 – , e em perspetiva exegético-teológica, optamos por alguns dos seus temas, em virtude
da sua riqueza e complexidade.
The present dissertation has as object of study the temptations of Jesus (Mt 4, 1-11). It will certainly be a pertinent text that fits into modern times, since the temptations of Jesus are also ours, which we face daily. Having said this, we began our study focusing on the gospel of Matthew, concretely in the community that gives rise to it and in all aspects related to it. Next, we look at the text in greek and its translation, delimit verbatim and establish the intertextualities, with the Old Testement and the Gospels of Mark and Luke. Having reached the herat of the matther – the theology of mt 4, 1-11 - and from an exegetic-theological perspective, we have chosen some of its themes, because of their richness and complexity.
