Using a mixed methodology, perceptions of support, well-being and safety at school were analyzed, as well as knowledge and attitude about Trauma Sensitive Care (TSC), and finally perceptions of effectiveness after participating in activities from the Curriculum Integration Referentials (RIC) in the field of Trauma Sensitive Care. The results revealed overall positive perceptions of support and safety on the part of the students, adequate knowledge about trauma and domestic violence, and high appreciation of the programs by young people. The study, which is innovative and relevant because it gives the student a voice, confirms the relevance of CST programs in the Portuguese educational context.
