Este Relatório surge no âmbito da unidade curricular “Estágio Final e Relatório” integrado no 2º ano do 16º curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem, com especialização em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica na área de Enfermagem à Pessoa em Situação Crítica da Escola de Enfermagem (Porto) da Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Os Estágios desenvolveram-se em três locais distintos, o Serviço de Medicina Intensiva Polivalente, na disciplina do 1º ano do curso – “A pessoa em situação crítica e família: vigilância e decisão clínica” e na disciplina do 2º ano, de maio a julho de 2023, num Serviço de Medicina Intensiva Monovalente e num Serviço de Urgência Polivalente, estes realizados no período de setembro a dezembro no ano de 2023. Este documento tem como principal objetivo descrever as experiências e aprendizagens adquiridas durante os estágios, sob um olhar crítico-reflexivo e a demonstração das propostas de melhoria. Este documento é constituído por dois capítulos, o primeiro está ligado ao contexto de cuidados intensivos em que é feita a abordagem ao Serviço Polivalente e ao Monovalente, sendo que neste último foi elaborada uma revisão da literatura sobre a Avaliação da Pressão Intra-abdominal através de régua de água, em que após a sua concretização foi possível a realização de um protocolo para o serviço em questão. O segundo, é dedicado ao contexto de Urgência Polivalente, neste local surgiu a necessidade de proceder a uma revisão de bibliográfica sobre o Cateterismo Vesical, da conclusão desta pesquisa foi preparada uma formação que foi disponibilizada de forma online. Ao longo dos capítulos foi explorado o desenvolvimento profissional verificado com base nas atividades desenvolvidas que levaram ao desenvolvimento das competências e fundamentação teórica. Em apêndice consta a tabela de evidência, o protocolo desenvolvido para a avaliação da pressão intra-abdominal, o plano de formação e a apresentação sobre o Cateterismo Vesical realizada no Serviço de Urgência Polivalente. Este relatório reflete o compromisso pessoal com a excelência na prática da Enfermagem para um cuidado holístico e especializado.
This report arises within the curriculum unit “Final Internship and Report” integrated into the 2nd year of the 16th Master’s Degree in Nursing, specializing in Medical-Surgical Nursing in the area of Nursing to the Critical ill Person of the School of Nursing (Porto) of Universidade Católica Portuguesa. The internships were carried out in three distinct locations, the Multidisciplinary Intensive Care Unit, as part of the 1st-year course module - "The person in critical condition and family: surveillance and clinical decision-making" and during the 2nd-year module, from May to July 2023, in a Monodisciplinary Intensive Care Unit and a Multidisciplinary Emergency Service, both conducted from September to December 2023. This document's main objective is to describe the experiences and learning acquired during the internships, from a critical-reflexive perspective, and to demonstrate proposed improvements. This document consists of two chapters, the first is linked to the intensive care context, providing an approach to both the Multidisciplinary and Monodisciplinary Intensive Care Services, in the latter, a literature review on Intra-abdominal Pressure Assessment using a water manometer was conducted, following this review, a protocol for the respective service was developed. The second chapter is dedicated to the Multidisciplinary Emergency context, where the need for a literature review on Bladder Catheterization arose, upon concluding this research, a training program was prepared and made available online. Throughout the chapters, professional development is explored based on the activities carried out, which led to the development of skills and theoretical foundation. The appendix includes the evidence table, the protocol developed for the assessment of intra-abdominal pressure, the training plan and the presentation on Bladder Catheterization conducted in the Multidisciplinary Emergency Service. This report reflects a personal commitment to excellence in nursing practice for holistic and specialized care.
