Abstract(s)
conflitos adequadas, promovendo a qualidade do desempenho e a satisfação profissional.
IPSS employees are among those who most deal with the elderly and their vulnerabilities, making it essential that they perform their functions effectively. Thus, it is crucial that, among other aspects, they resort to adequate conflict management strategies, promoting quality of performance and professional satisfaction. In this context, the general objective of this study was to identify and analyze conflict management strategies and levels of job satisfaction among IPSS employees. A non-random convenience sample consisting of 100 IPSS employees was used, to whom the ROCI-II, S20/23 and a sociodemographic questionnaire were applied. The information collected was analyzed using SPSS, version 26. The results showed a predominant use of the "collaboration" strategy, with the professionals who use this strategy the most, the most satisfied with the physical work environment and with the supervision that possess. It was also possible to perceive that the Covid-19 pandemic situation caused moderate changes in the perception of these professionals, both in professional satisfaction and in the sources of conflicts.
