In this report I present the reflections and development of the Professional Practice, as well as the implementation and evaluation of the Project of Pedagogical Intervention carried out in the Music Academy of the Vilhelense Philharmonic Society inserted in the Masters in Music Teaching, of the School of Arts, of the Portuguese Catholic University in Instrument Specialization Areas - Viola de Arco and Conjunto Class. The main purpose of the Intervention Project was to verify that a new approach in the teaching-learning process based on a careful analysis of the pedagogical principles of Zoltán Kodály and the Colourstrings method, helps to solve the rhythmic problems that were specially found in the classes of the discipline of Viola of arch students in the 2nd cycle of articulated basic education. The above mentioned references were applied to the didactics of the instrument in the perspective of solving either rhythmic or theoretical gaps and also as a means of development in the practice of the Viola de Arco. The methodology adopted was action research and two groups of students were created: an experimental group of three students and a control group of three students for a better evaluation of results. The data collected, analyzed and put into practice allowed the objectives to be successfully completed, and the students' progress was verified through continuous assessment and end-of-term evaluation tests, as well as my evolution as a teacher of the specialized education of music.
