Abstract(s)
3º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e no Ensino Secundário, procura encontrar e valorizar possíveis
This Master thesis was developed in the scope of the Master in Visual Arts Education for the 3rd cycle of Elementary School and High School, in an attempt to evaluate and enrich the possible connections between music and visual arts in order to improve the teaching and learning process of a class of students gifted with musical training. The first part of this paper presents a theoretical development for a conceptual approach where it is analyzed the importance of music and art on education. It also seeks to fundament the teaching practice based on the analysis of the works of Paul Klee. The second part presents the development of a didactic proposal which includes the exposition of teaching/learning strategies applied to the Visual Education course at Escola EB 2,3 of Vila Verde for the teaching class of the pedagogical internship. The main goal was to emphasize the musical capabilities of the students towards the course focusing in composing, playing, listening and interpreting to better design and use colors with rhythm and harmony. Having as main purpose the articulation of music with the visual arts, this study attempts to reflect about the art in the context of teaching considering the cultural diversity typical from scholar environments. It is intend to show that when we value the training and knowledge of the students we can better contribute to the development of the sensible domain responsible for the differentiation and enhancer of new experiences within the context of art education. The description of the pedagogic practice and the obtained results of an entire school year of work highlight the relevance of such theme and the opportunity of choice. The sharing of experiences between professor and students helped to explore a new capability to best address the challenges in which it was imperative to listen, observe, reflect, articulate and compose/create within the context of teaching/learning in Visual Education.
