dc.description.abstract	O estudo aborda as empresas familiares e os seus problemas com a sucessão interna. A dissertação começa com uma análise do conceito e da estrutura da empresa familiar, e, de seguida, analisa-se mais detalhado as possibilidades de sucessão e de planeamento sucessório que um sócio fundador tem a seu dispor. O grande foco desta dissertação é sobretudo o protocolo familiar e as formas como este instrumento regula as relações familiares e as relações entre a família e a empresa. Procura-se aqui chamar a atenção do legislador para uma lacuna legislativa crucial neste campo jurídico e para a necessidade urgente de a solucionar.	por
dc.description.abstract	This study will address family companies and their problems with internal succession. This project will begin with the analysis of the concept of family companies and their internal structure. Afterwards we will mainly focus on the possibilities that the funding member of the company has regarding the planning of the succession. The main focus on this thesis is the family agreement and the ways in which this legal instrument can regulate the family relationships and the relationship between the family and the company. We will also try to call the attention of the legislator to the gap in our legal system and the urgent need to fix it.	eng
