Abstract(s)
Reconhecemos o modo
único da literatura de iluminar a verdade. Juntaremos a tais dados, um aprofundamento da
Sagrada Escritura.
Death is one of the greatest misteries for man. The aura of the unknown that surrounds it has an impact of fear and repugnance, that takes the subject to postpone the necessary reflection. The present dissertation peers the truth about death and dying, taking into account the due of dark and light that involve them. We intend to carry out a study of the literary work of José Luís Peixoto, that focus these issues in the thought of the reader. We recognize the singular way of literature to illuminate the truth. We will join to these facts the deepening of the Scriptures. Jesus Christ, the synthesis of the whole Word of God, faces death to the full consequences, for love. The way of theoliterary will be instructive to understand what kind of contributions Theology and Literature can give each other.
