Abstract(s)
O seguinte trabalho teve como objetivo de estudo o desenvolvimento do Self através da
sua ligação narrativa, afetiva, simbólica e prática com o place attachment sagrado. O
place attachment sagrado é um conceito ainda recente nos estudos do place attachment.
Por isso foi apurado um modelo teórico sobre o tema. Desta forma, no âmbito do projeto
de dissertação, foi elaborado um estudo exploratório com uso da metodologia do
Consensual Qualitative Research (CQR), aplicado a 23 participantes da cidade de Braga.
Os locais objeto de estudo selecionados para o fenómeno estudado foram o Sameiro e o
Bom Jesus (lugares religiosos emblemáticos da cidade de Braga), para explorar a ligação
entre os sujeitos e o place attachment sagrado. Percebemos que ambos os locais servem
para propósitos distintos e que o recurso ao local sagrado vai variando ao longo da vida
das pessoas.
The following work aimed to study the development of the Self through its narrative, affective, symbolic and practice connection with the sacred place attachment. The sacred place attachment is still a recent concept in the studies of place attachment. That is why a theoretical model about the subject was established. Thus, in the scope of a dissertation project, an exploratory study was developed using the methodology of the Consensual Qualitative Research (CQR) applying it to 23 participants from the city of Braga. The places selected for the phenomenon studied were the Sameiro and Bom Jesus (emblematic religious sites of the city of Braga), to explore the connection between the subjects and the sacred place attachment. We conclude that both places serve different purposes and that the use of the sacred place varies throughout the life of the people.
