Abstract(s)
A violência de género em ambientes de lazer noturno e festivais de grande dimensão é algo que surge com frequência, tornando-se por isso relevante investigar a eficácia de protocolos de intervenção e prevenção nesta área. Os Modelos Lilás surgem no âmbito desta problemática com o propósito de intervir, prevenir e responder à violência de género nestes contextos. Assim, esta investigação teve como objetivo analisar criticamente, a utilidade e a relevância destes modelos. O estudo adotou uma abordagem exploratória mista, envolvendo análise documental, grupos de discussão com profissionais em Barcelona e análise de fichas de ocorrência em festivais que ocorreram em Portugal. Os principais resultados revelaram que a implementação dos Modelos Lilás são essenciais para fornecer apoio imediato a vítimas, promover a sensibilização pública sobre a violência de género e melhorar a segurança em eventos. No entanto, desafios significativos como a falta de recursos e a coordenação entre os diferentes setores limitam a eficácia das intervenções. Assim, o estudo destaca a necessidade de formação contínua e campanhas de sensibilização para prevenir a violência a longo prazo e os resultados sugerem que sejam implementadas melhorias na coordenação intersectorial para aumentar a eficácia dos protocolos implementados.
Gender-based violence in nightlife setting and large-scale festivals is a frequent occurrence, making it relevant to investigate the effectiveness of intervention and prevention protocols in this area. The Lilac Models emerge in this context with the purpose of intervening, preventing and responding to gender-based violence in these settings. Thus, this investigation aimed to critically analyze the utility and relevance of these models. The study adopted a mixed exploratory approach, involving document analysis, discussion group with professionals in Barcelona, and analysis of incident reports from the main results revealed the implementation of the Lilac Models are essential for providing immediate support to victims, promoting public awareness about gender-based violence, and improving safety at events. However significant challenges such as lack of resources and coordination between different sectors limit the effectiveness of interventions. Thus, the study highlights the need for continuous training and awareness campaigns to prevent violence in the long term and the results suggests that improvements in intersectoral coordination be implemented to enhance the effectiveness of the protocols.
