A evolução da Internet e das ferramentas que a constituem são de tal forma
extensíveis que estão presentes nos diversos contextos profissionais e sociais.
As instituições e as pessoas utilizam cada vez mais estes serviços, entre as
quais também se incluem as escolas.
Com isto, tem-se verificado nos últimos tempos um melhor apetrechamento
tecnológico nas escolas, quer com ferramentas, mas também com melhores
ligações no acesso à Internet. Nesta perspectiva, é objectivo desta
investigação compreender os sítios escolares, isto é, quais as funções e as
estratégias que são desenvolvidas com os alunos, docentes e comunidade
educativa em geral, mas também compreender a perspectiva que os
responsáveis têm na gestão e dinamização dos respectivos sítios.
O trabalho focou os sítios escolares do 1º ciclo. Para sua análise, foi elaborada
uma grelha com o suporte na revisão de literatura e posteriormente avaliada
por especialistas. Da mesma forma, foram estruturadas perguntas para a
entrevista a responsáveis dos sítios escolares.

Recently, we have been ascertaining much better technological devices in schools, both in tools and in internet access. From this point of view, the aim of this project is to understand school websites, i.e., to know what are the functions and strategies that are being developed with students, teachers and school communities, in general, as well as to understand the point of view of the ones who are responsible for school websites management and dynamism. This project was raised on primary schools websites. In order to analyze them, we created a grid supported on revisions of existing literary texts and, afterwards, it was evaluated by experts. Equally, questions were structured to interview the ones who are responsible for school websites.
