Abstract(s)
O presente estudo trata da aprendizagem de língua estrangeira (LE), mais
concretamente da Língua Inglesa (LI), e da sua ligação com a aquisição da língua materna,
neste caso, a Língua Portuguesa. As suas diferenças são abordadas no decorrer deste
estudo, mencionando-se as interferências que a última causa sobre a primeira, bem como
as suas vantagens na aprendizagem do Inglês como LE. As características do processo de
aprendizagem da LE são também aqui tratadas, salientando-se um processo inerente ao
anterior que está relacionado com a motivação do aprendente dessa mesma língua. Por
último, este estudo termina com a abordagem da aprendizagem precoce e do Projeto
Curricular do Ensino de Inglês no 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico.
This study focuses on the process of acquisiton of a Foreign Language, in this case the English Language, and on its connection with the acquisition of the Mother Tongue, the Portuguese Language. Their differences are referred, as well as the interferences that the last one makes in the sphere of the Foreign Language and its adavantages associated with its use in that same process of acquisition. The characteristics of the process of acquisition of the Foreign Language are also present in this study, with a special emphasis given to its inherent process of motivation of the student. We conclude with the concepts of early learning and Curricular Project regarding the teaching of English in Elementary School.
