Abstract(s)
nesta arte. No projecto, será desenvolvida a curta-metragem Ljós, expondo e descrevendo
The project presented results in a short film, based on research about the digital era in cinema. At a time where film is on the verge of extinction, the digital format prevails and is increasingly used at all stages of movie production. The seventh art had always suffered evolutions throughout its history, however the most recent has led theorists to predict the “death” of cinema” after more than a century of film. The identity of cinema is thus called into question. This uncertainty about the nature of reality representation is also challenged with the evolution of special effects for visual, and the use of computer-created characters and worlds. All the genders, including animation, have undergone vast changes, especially in the latter, with digital, nowadays, making up a large part of its production on several feature films. Therefore, in the theoretical part of the project, there will be a development and exploration of the history and evolution of cinema, both live action and animation, as well as the concepts and reflections of film theorists, who defend or counter the use of digital in this art. In the project, the short film Ljós will be developed, exposing and describing the pre-production, production and pos-production phases, as the means used for its concretion.
