No presente Relatório Final da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada averigua-se a hipótese da
política como caminho pedagógico e didático rico e favorável à disciplina de Educação Moral
e Religiosa Católica (EMRC), no âmbito de uma mediação cultural e mistagógica do
cristianismo, potencializando um diálogo entre política e religião. Em contexto escolar os
conteúdos da fé não subsistem por si como verdades alternativas ou concordantes com as
restantes áreas do saber. Torna-se, por isso, necessário criar então uma via que seja eficaz
para esta transmissão. A relação entre política e religião, nomeadamente nas propostas que a
Doutrina Social da Igreja, surge como uma possível via de trabalhar a dimensão religiosa no
contexto escolar, mais concretamente, nos itinerários formativos de EMRC. Tendo isto
presente é importante refletir no papel da política e da religião neste processo de transmissão
religiosa e cultural. As religiões podem surgir como espaços onde as questões mais profundas
do Homem são consideradas e onde se busca uma resposta. É na busca dessa resposta, que a
política desempenha um papel fundamental. A política, como a religião, estimula e desafia a
totalidade do ser humano. Política e religião aparecem ligadas entre si, como se fossem
parentes, já que procuram o mesmo fim: o Bem Comum. Nesta ligação, a religião apresenta
propostas que podem e devem influir na política. A disciplina de EMRC pode ver na atividade
política uma preciosa ajuda, tanto na sua capacidade de ser símbolo, na sua capacidade de
transmitir a fé, como também na sua capacidade de interpelar e por questões no interior do
coração humano para assim os encaminhar num itinerário de fé. A reflexão sobre a relação
entre a política e a religião deve de ajudar a disciplina nesta missão de inquietar e pôr o
Homem a caminho.
In this Final Report of the Supervised Teaching Practice, the hypothesis of politics as a rich and favorable pedagogical and didactic path to the discipline of Catholic Moral and Religious Education (EMRC) is investigated, within the scope of a cultural and mystagogical mediation of Christianity, enhancing a dialogue between politics and religion. In a school context, the contents of faith do not exist by themselves as alternative truths or in agreement with other areas of knowledge. It is therefore necessary to create an effective way for this transmission. The relationship between politics and religion, namely in the proposals made by the Social Doctrine of the Church, appears as a possible way of working the religious dimension in the school context, more specifically, in the training itineraries of EMRC. Bearing this in mind, it is important to reflect on the role of politics and religion in this process of religious and cultural transmission. Religions can emerge as spaces where the deepest questions of Man are considered and where an answer is sought. It is in the search for this answer that politics plays a fundamental role. Politics, like religion, stimulates and challenges the totality of the human being. Politics and religion appear linked together, as if they were relatives, since they seek the same end: the Common Good. In this connection, religion presents proposals that can and should influence politics. The discipline of EMRC can see in political activity a precious help, both in its ability to be a symbol, in its ability to transmit the faith, as well as in its ability to question and question the interior of the human heart in order to guide them on an itinerary of faith. Reflection on the relationship between politics and religion should help discipline in this mission of disturbing and putting Man on his way.
